No or Low Sew Crafts
If you don't know how to sew, knit or crochet, you can still jazz up winter clothing with sparkly or colorful accents and scarves. Stitch, glue or iron on rhinestones and other decorative applique patches to new or used clothing. To make scarves, purchase lengths of fleece, wool or silk fabric and cut it into strips long and wide enough for a scarves. Finish fleece scarves by cutting fringe into the ends with sharp scissors. To make fringe on woven silk or wool fabric, carefully pull out threads from along the edges.

Knit and crochet are different methods of creating stretch fabrics using yarn and hooks or needles. Many craft stores offer introductory knit and crochet classes, and after you pick up the basics, the options are endless. Begin with knit and crochet by making a hat or tam to keep your head warm and protect your hair. It only takes basic skill level to create hats that are stylish enough to wear for any occasion. As your skill level improves you can knit or crochet more complicated projects including sweaters, vests and even coats.
